Due to a date conflict beyond our control at our venue, Lunar Ball 2018 originally scheduled for Saturday, May 19 has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 11. Rest assured that the event will be bigger and better than ever!

The 2018 Lunar Ball will be held on Saturday, May 19th at the contemporary Zhou B Art Center located in Chicago’s historic Bridgeport neighborhood.

As Chicago’s largest fundraiser for Chicago local Asian-American charities, the Lunar Ball is expected to bring together 1,000+ of Chicago’s most accomplished young professionals and community supporters from over 30 organizations.

Attendees will enjoy a royal evening of premium drinks, delicious food, great entertainment, and social networking, all in the beautiful Zhou B Art Center adorned with award-winning sculptures and arts.

Highlights include tastings from top local restaurants, a premium full open bar including CH Distillery, Saboo craft beers, and other fine spirits.

A-Squared’s 10th Birthday Benefit Celebrating Asian American Arts

Come celebrate A-Squared Theatre’s 10th birthday with Tatsu Aoki’s Miyumi Project, saxophonist Jeff Chan, and Korean percussionist Suwan Choi in this fundraiser for A-Squared’s 2017 programming.

Asian American Performing Arts Festival

Do you have an interest in the performing arts? A-Squared, a Chicago based Asian American theater company, is presenting the Asian American Performing Arts Festival from Thursday, 10/20 to Sunday, 10/23. The festival includes nightly performances ranging from spoken words, plays, to music and dance. Please see the link below for event details.

The Mid-Autumn Festival Party

mid-autumnThe Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節) has been a Chinese tradition since 16th century BCE; it’s an opportunity for friends to celebrate togetherness and rejuvenation. Bring your friends and join TAP-Chicago in this celebration of the full harvest moon with traditional Chinese costumes, stories, games, lanterns, and mooncakes (月餅)!

The celebration will take place in the 28th Floor Party Room of One Eleven, perfect for moon-gazing with amazing views of the city of Chicago.

Early bird ticket: $30 by Tuesday, October 4.
General admission ticket: $35 by Thu, October 6.
Late/On site registration: $40 (If space is available)
