Serving at A Just Harvest Community Kitchen
Join TAP-Chicago at A Just Harvest where we will be serving at Chicago’s largest community soup kitchen. A Just Harvest is focused on providing a welcoming and respectful environment in which food is served, as those in need are often treated without the respect most of us are accustomed to. This is a fantastic opportunity to team with other TAP-Chicago volunteers in aiding less fortunate Chicagoans through this relentless winter.

Arts & Crafts with Chicago Youths
Join TAP-Chicago in spreading warmth and cheer to low-income, at-risk youth at Asian Youth Services (AYS) on Sat, December 15. Volunteers will be paired with the kids to make holiday-themed arts and crafts; at the end, we will present each child with a Target gift card. Can’t make it to the event but want to still positively impact these children? See DONATIONS section below.
Originally founded to support children of South East Asian refugees families escaping from genocide or oppression, the nonprofit AYS has now expanded to serve children from all low-income families in the Albany Park neighborhood. AYS only has 1 full-time employee and relies on volunteers like us to provide essential services to children, so your time this day will be greatly appreciated by the community and the children.
