Hungry to Help? Volunteer at Lakeview Pantry

Hungry to help? Join TAP-Chicago as we help eliminate hunger by providing emergency food relief to the Lakeview community.

We will be meeting at Lakeview Pantry EAST to repack bulk food for distribution through their Home Delivery Program. Volunteers pack around 130-150 bags on average, 2 per client.

Please make sure to come to the East site (3831 N. Broadway), which is a short walk from the Sheridan Red Line stop. Free and metered street parking are also available.

Training starts promptly at 9:00 am so please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign in.

Register through WePay so we know you’re coming! Due to the size of the Pantry, space is limited and advance registration is required.

About Lakeview Pantry
Lakeview Pantry is one of the longest-lived food pantries in Chicago. It opened in 1970 with the mission of providing food to people living below the poverty level. Today, they not only distribute groceries, but also help clients address the issues that often lead to food insecurity, such as unemployment and housing instability.
