Our friend and Taiwanese American author Wesley Chu has invited us to attend the release party for his new sci fi book The Lives of Tao!
Limited refreshments will be provided and copies of Wesley’s book will be on sale.
In addition to Wesley, 5 other writers will be present, including Hugo Award winner Mary Robinette Kowal, Bradley Beaulieu, Matt Forbeck, Mary G Thompson, and Julianna Scott.
Come to show your support for an up-and-coming Asian American author and meet a diverse group of people!
The event is free, but please RSVP on Wepay so he knows about how many TAP-Chicago guests to expect: https://www.wepay.com/events/livesoftao
More from Wesley:
Hello friends,
You can forget my birthday. I won’t mind if you miss the birth of my firstborn. Heck, miss my funeral.
. . . But please don’t miss the release of my debut novel, “The Lives of Tao”! The book is on shelves starting April 30th, and I’d love for you to celebrate this special occasion with me.
So mark your calendars for my Book Release Party — May 4, 2013, 7:00 -10:00 p.m. at NV Penthouse Lounge 116 W. Hubbard St. in downtown Chicago.
Feel free to pass this along. Please RSVP.
P.S. My book is available for pre-order on Amazon.com. Feel free to order more than one copy! http://www.amazon.com/The-Lives-Tao-Wesley-Chu/dp/0857663291
