Before you join that gym membership this winter, consider generating momentum for that New Year’s resolution by working out with 25 other friends once a week. Tough it out with members of TAP-Chicago’s Dragon Boat team and friends every Sunday for 12 weeks starting January 13th and ending March 31st, 2013.
All the real badass NFL teams play outdoor in the snow! This is your chance to be as badass as Briggs, Urlacher, Suggs, Von Miller, JPP, oh, and Sam Gordon (for the ladies out there). Join TAP-Chicago for a fun-filled night of coed flag football…in the snow! (But with my luck, it’s going to be nice, sunny, and only slightly chilly.) We made a few changes to the rules. These rules are designed to facilitate a fun, female friendly game, and a good workout. Please ask if anything is unclear. (more…)
TAP-Chicago is looking for a team of 5-15 people for the Schiller Chiller on Sat, December 1st in Schiller Woods Forest Preserve. Race starts at 10:00am. Registration fee is $27 for 10k, $22 for 5k. This is an affordable race event compared to running races in the city.
This is a great event for people who want to get back into running. Trail running is much easier on the knees than pavement. Be one with nature and prepare for inclement weather. Please layer and dress in appropriate athletic attire.
Register online at the organizer’s registration page: http://chiller.eventbrite.com. Enter TAPChicago as the team name (case sensitive).
All participants will receive a bib, long-sleeve race t-shirt, and a customized Schiller Chiller coffee mug; 10k finishers receive a shot glass. Irish coffee served after the race to warm up the soul, and free the mind! Visit: http://www.muddymonk.com/schiller-chiller for more information.
