St. James Food Pantry Volunteer Event
Please come out and join fellow TAP volunteers to support and feed needy families by volunteering at St. James Food Pantry on Sunday, May 15th!
*** Space is limited so remember to RSVP early on the Eventbrite to claim a spot!!
St. James Food Pantry is only a short walking distance from the Green and Red lines as well as Bus 4 & 29 on the CTA.
*****
St. James Food Pantry has been in existence since 1972 when Sr. Carlotta Oberzut, RSM, a teacher in the parish school, formed a food distribution program as a means of assisting needy school families.
For many years St. James Food Pantry has been a beacon of hope for families and individuals living in near-by public housing and the elderly living in several of the Chicago Housing Authority Senior Buildings.
Come out to volunteer and support the greater Chicago community!
