Participating in the Double Ten Parade
Come join TAP-Chicago this Saturday as we participate in the annual Double Ten Parade in Chinatown. The Double Ten Parade is an annual event held to commemorate the Wuchang Uprising, a revolt that led to a declaration of independence from the central government by Wuchang and several other provinces in China in 1911, which ultimately led to the Xinhai Revolution in which revolutionary forces overthrew the Qing Dynasty,
Every year, the Chinatown neighborhood and thousands of people from all over the city of Chicago join together to attend and participate in the Double Ten Parade.
