Hot Seat: Spoken Word (Re)Generations w/Kelly Zen-Yie Tsai, Kevin Coval, and avery young
Drawing from their shared roots in Chicago’s rich multicultural spoken word scene, slam poets Kelly Zen-Yie Tsai, Kevin Coval, and avery young will share from new original works that contemplate culture, race, and identity.
After each performance, each artist will be in the “hot seat,” responding to a series of questions from the other two artists. Youth poets from Young Chicago Authors will open the show and a reception will follow.
