TAP-Chicago & KACC Present: “Inside the Agent” CIA Panel and Mixer
Attend an exclusive program by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for business professionals of all backgrounds. Attendees will learn what the Asian American experience is like in a not-so-well-known organization. Hear first-hand perspectives from a panel of Asian American CIA officers. Each panelist will share the experiences of his or her journey to and through the CIA in a thoughtful and entertaining fashion.
Learn about what the CIA is responsible for today and how it accomplishes its mission with the assistance of Asian Americans as well as the variety of internships and career opportunities for Asian Americans within the intelligence community.
After the panel, attendees will have the opportunity to network and foster valuable connections with members of the CIA as well as other professionals in the Chicago area. Attendees will enjoy complimentary heavy appetizers and a cash bar.

Next Thursday, Sept 3rd begins Chicago’s Summer Jazz Festival! Admission is free at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. Come join TAP-Chicago’s social team for some late summer fun and meet new/old friends after work in a relaxed setting!

Supporting Kollaboration Chicago 10th Annual Showcase
Join TAP-Chicago supporting Kollaboration Chicago’s 10th Annual Showcase on August 15! This year they’re taking the showcase to Chicago at historic Lincoln Hall at 2424 N Lincoln Ave.
The event begins at 1:30pm with lunch and social networking at 12:30pm. This milestone in Kollaboration history features six of the best up-and-coming artists in the Chicagoland area competing to win Kollaboration Chicago. The Chicago winner will advance to the Kollaboration STAR stage in Los Angeles to compete against other city winners for a chance at $10,000!

Chinatown 5K Supporting Project Vision
Run a 5K to build a better community! The Chicago Chinatown 5K & Youth Run is a fast course that runs through the heart of Chicago Chinatown. The Chinatown 5K partners with not-for-profit organizations to help raise funds for their various programs. For the 2nd straight year, TAP-Chicago is running and raising funds that support Project Vision as well as the TAP Dragon Boat Team.

Chicago Cares Serve-A-Thon 2015 w/Discover
This is our city, our future. Impact starts with us, and it starts with action. Join TAP-Chicago as we participate in the Discover Cares Team for the Chicago Cares Serve-a-thon, the city’s largest single day of service.
On June 27, 2015, we’ll join 5,000 other volunteers to make a sizeable impact in every corner of the city. We’ll enhance schools and plant gardens. We’ll spruce up playgrounds and foster community. More than this, we’ll see all that’s possible when we roll up our sleeves and work together to transform our community.

7:30 A.M. – 8:30 A.M. Check in at Daley Plaza, get your volunteer assignment and fuel up with some coffee and a continental breakfast.
8:30 A.M. Assignment in hand, board the bus for your project site. Get to work!
2:30 P.M. – 3:30 P.M. Wrap up your project and head back to Daley Plaza on the bus. A sack lunch is provided.
3:30 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. Worked hard? Time to play hard. We’ll celebrate in the plaza with a party featuring food, drink and live music.
