Join TAP-Chicago for 2 movies during the 18th Annual Asian American Showcase! White Frog is a new coming-of-age drama by acclaimed director Quentin Lee.

A favored son’s secrets are slowly unraveled by second son Nick, a young man with Asperger’s Syndrome. When big brother Chaz dies in a tragic accident, the life of a family goes into a tailspin. Nick discovers that older brother Chaz was actually someone very different away from home. White From is a universal story of the power of family, friendship, and love. The stellar cast includes Booboo Stewart, Joan Chen, BD Wong, Harry Shum, Jr., and Kelly Hu.

The group will meet at the theatre at 7:30 PM (there is a bar and snacks available for purchase). If there is interest, we will grab drinks and food at a nearby bar afterward.

Tickets are available through TicketMaster or in person at the Gene Siskel Center box office (with no surcharge). $11 general admission, $7 students, $6 Film Center members
